· Responsible for supervising and coordinating all purchasing functions and ensuring buying the best quality equipment, spare parts, machines, goods, and services for the company at the most competitive prices, lead time & quality.
· Organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the purchasing section is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy and the LOA.
· Contribute to the preparation of the purchasing section budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified.
· Overall, of Indirect purchasing budget Recommend improvements to policy and direct the implementation of instructions covering all areas of purchasing activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Business, commerce…etc)
7-10 years relevant experience in procurement in multinational or big local companies including at least 3 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
